Our Last Day with my Cousin

There's always drama when we travel...

The day started out really lovely. My cousin Colin and I ate breakfast together...

Then we showed everyone that even toddlers our age can work as a team
This is How Towers Get Built (video)

A little later on, the neighbor's cat Pepper came by for a visit and I decided to give him a talking-to Giving Pepper the Cat a Talking To 1 (video) and then I kept going while Pepper was trying (and eventually succeeded) to run away from me Giving Pepper the Cat a Talking To 2 (video)

Unfortunately, it was not all fun and games. I was accidentally allowed to touch peanut butter and had an allergic reaction to it. They had to give me Benedryl and finally it started working and I was better. My mommy and daddy got really scared. For the rest of the day I didn't rally have much of an appetite and then I vomited in the evening. We left at 8 pm (I was already asleep) and I only slept for the first half hour of the drive home. We finally made it home at midnight. My parents were exhausted!!!

July 4th Fun at my Cousin's Colin

On Thursday, July 3rd we took off around 10 am and headed south to visit with my grandma Phyllis, my grandpa Phil & grandma Sandy, and my aunt Debbi, uncle Kevin and my cousin Colin. The trip was LONG but not as long as the trip to visit my friend Lia in Charlotte. We made it there around 3 pm (after many stops for my pregnant mommy who constantly needed to use the bathroom).

Then today was 4th of July and a day for celebrating this wonderful country.

Here are some videos for you to enjoy:

And a monumental event - we all went out for my first ice-cream. Well, it wasn't real ice cream because I'm not supposed to have any cow's milk dairy, but it was raspberry sorbet and I really liked it! My First Ice Cream (video)

Hanging Out with My Abba (Daddy)

No need for words...

Meet Nutterbutter

So, yes, we are doing it again, and intentionally too! We're expecting another baby around January 23, 2009. His/her current name is Nutterbutter and will remain so until he/she are born and then we'll have to come up with a real name. Until then, feel free to take a look at Nutterbutter's first picture which was taken at 8 weeks and 3 days gestation.

The Weekend of the Three L's

Wow! What a weekend we had! Friday morning we got in the car and started heading South to Charlotte, NC where my friends Lorenzo & Lia live. My mommy really wanted to see her friends Nirit & Thiemo and their daughter Lia before they moved back to Germany. And she also was looking forward to meet Nirit's friend Brandy and her husband Fabio and their son Lorenzo. You see, Lorenzo (the first L) is a couple of weeks older than me (the 2nd L) and Lia (the 3rd L) is a couple of weeks younger than me so you can just imagine how much fun us three had.

Nirit, Thiemo & Lia were wonderful hosts. Lia let me play with all of her toys and was very sweet to me. Not to mention she is the prettiest girl I have ever laid eyes on (tfu tfu tfu...).

Brandy & Lorenzo were also at Nirit's when we arrived. They came to greet us and I really liked them (and so did my mommy). Later on Thiemo & Fabio also joined us so my daddy was a little more comfortable.

Here I am sleeping finally, after having slept for only 20 minutes during the entire 7.5 hour drive...

On Saturday afternoon we went over to Lorenzo's for a cookout. Us three L's got to play with the water-table and go into the Aligator pool in the backyard. Then we got to have steak! Yay!

Here we are before heading over to Lorenzo's:

And watch Lia Chasing Me (vidceo) and another one of Lia Chasing Me (video)

Here we are in Lorenzo's back yard, playing with water and having fun:

And here are a bunch of videos of us playing with water:

Water Fun 1 (video), Water Fun 2 (video), Water Fun 3 (video), Water Fun 3 (video), Water Fun 4 (video), Water Fun 5 (video)

We all had a really nice time. It was very nice of them to have us over.

In the evening, after daddy gave me my bath and Daisa and mommy put me in bed, Nirit drove him over to a pub to catch up with Thiemo and Fabio. Mommy and Nirit pretty much collapsed soon after that and went to bed.

On Sunday we had breakfast and I got to play with Lia a bit more and then we had to go

We did get some photo ops before we left:

The drive home was long and exhausting but we survived it! Well, I did. My mommy is still trying to recover from it
