More Fun with Sabba Gabi

Today Sabba (grandpa) Gabi came to visit me again. We went to the mall where they had a play area. But really, it was a lot more fun to play outside and have Sabba be my horsie and chase me around...

And to see all the action you can watch

Unfortunately, things got kind of bad later on. I woke up in the middle of the night screaming in pain. Savta Ruti called a doctor to come to the house (mommy says she would love to have that option in the US) and he said I had a bad double ear infection. So I had to start antibiotics again. It's really all mommy's fault. She got us all sick.

This is Why We Love Israel...

In Israel you don't have to make plans weeks or months in advance. When you want to see friends or family, you just pick up the phone and ask if it's ok to drop by. The worse thing they can say is - no. So this morning we called my cousins and asked if we could come by later in the afternoon, after I had had my nap. And of course they yes. Oh, and another thing we love about Israel - there are always, where ever you go, kids outside playing. There's always noise (the good kind) and moms with babies/toddlers in strollers. There's always someone having a picnic. And one more favorite thing - we LOVE the fruits. They are so juice and yummy.

And another way you can see how much I love those Israeli fruits

A Fun Day with Sabba Gabi

Today started out as a really fun day. I had a good lunch, a good nap and then my mommy & daddy took me to see Sabba (grandpa) Gabi. We went to this place that is kind of like a huge Gymboree. It was a holiday (Passover) so there were lots of little kids and parents there. It was crowded but lots of fun!

Here are some snippets of our day: video 1, video 2, video 3

Then we went to a restaurant, where I drove my mommy crazy until she let me try everything her and my daddy and my Sabba were eating. Well, turned out that wasn't such a great idea. By the time we were done and got to the car my eyes, face, and pretty much my entire body was swollen, covered in welts, hives, and whatnot. My mommy got really scared and my daddy was trying to calm her down. Luckily, we were 2 minutes away from a hospital so they took me there and rushed me to the pediatric ER. There they checked me out and gave me some antihistamine which worked pretty fast. I was kind of scared and confused and didn't really understand what was going on. One minute I was having fun at a restaurant and the next I'm in a hospital with strange doctors and nurses. But it all ended well. I got better quickly and went home to rest. Now my mommy & daddy are terrified because they don't know what I'm allergic to so they have to be extra careful!

Busy in the Middle of the Night

So, I haven't been adjusting all that well to the time difference between the US and Israel. So this is why I'm sitting on the dining table in the middle of the night, hanging out with my tired Savta Ruti (grandma) and my extremely tired parents

Meeting My Twin Cousins For the First Time

Today I met my twin cousins (Roee & Ameet) for the first time. Their big sister, Danielle, whom I have already met (but don't quite remember because I was just 5 months old) is out of the country now so it will be a few more days until I see her again.

My cousins were so nice to me and gave me hugs and kisses. They also showed me how to play with the present they brought me. I wish I lived close to them and could play with them all the time

Here I am with my Savta (grandma) Ruti

My Flight & Arrival in Israel

Ok, so I hate flying! And so do my mommy and daddy, especially when flying with me. I really didn't appreicate being confined for such a long period. I did enjoy flirting with the good-looking female flight attendants (I didn't care much for the ugly ones or the male ones). And I also flirted with every other nice looking female on both plane rides. But I didn't like being confined and I cried and fussed a lot. And obviously, my mommy & daddy didn't get to sleep AT ALL! and we regretting the whole idea all together.

But, we made it to the holy land. My grandpa Gabi greeted us at the airport and chased me around the parking lot while my mommy & daddy were getting the rental car. Then we headed out to grandma Ruthie's home and I was greeted with lots of hugs, kisses and the endless offerings of food!

I got my bath and Daisa and all and then they decided it was time for me to go to sleep. Well, I only pretended to agree with them. For me it was just a nap though, and I woke up in the middle of the night expecting to PLAY! And for 3 hours I was trying to get my mommy & daddy to play with me and all they wanted to do was to get me to go back to sleep. BORING!

My Re-Introduction to Crayons

My grandpa Phil is visiting. He came to help my mommy because my daddy is away again. Grandpa Phil is lots of fun!

Him and my mommy decided to reintroduce me to crayons today. We tried this crayons thing once before. I was a year old then and wasn't really interested. I wasn't really getting it. The crayons just seemed like one more thing that might taste yummy. Well, now I think I get it. I think I get what to do with them. They still seem like they taste yummy, but it also seems like I can do other fun stuff with them.

Here is my reintroduction to crayons:

I do have to admit though, I think Colin is the better dancer of the two of us. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to choose a different career path!

My Girlfriend in Maryland

So, yes, it has taken a while to actually find the time to write this entry. My day in Maryland with filled with fun adventures. Our first stop was with Cheryl, Todd, Mia & Seth. Mia is 5 and Seth is 3. I had a blast there! It was a pretty quick visit though because we had more stops to make that day. Our second stop was to visit my mommy's friend Eran and his new wife and very new baby. Unfortunately the baby and mom were asleep so I only got to meet Eran. And now to the icing on the cake! We went to visit my mommy's friend Lily & her husband Steve and daughter Stephanie. I am in-love!!! She is so cute! Watch out Lia, you have some competition now! Of course I can't compare the cuteness. They are both beautiful and special in different ways, so no cat-fighting please! Here are some videos:

Before Our Trip tp Maryland

When I woke up this morning, there was a nice tower to topple! Last night Mr. Brian Haney and his kids Johnny & Tessi came over to watch the Final Four game and they built me a tower. So when I woke up this morning and discovered it, there was only one thing I could do knocking down the tower

And here is my mommy, quizzing me to see if I know where the letter 'W' is. Don't worry, I don't know the alphabet yet; it's just this one letter where is 'W'

My Introduction to Bubbles

Really, this should have happened a long time ago already. But, my mommy kept forgetting to buy a bubble blower and some bubble liquid for me every time she went to the store. Well, today she finally remembered. Here is my introduction to bubbles part 1 and introduction to bubbles part 2

Can you tell I like bubbles?

My Own Horsie & Talking to Animals

My daddy came home pretty early tonight; early enough to give me my bath and for us to spend some quality & fun times together.

And look at my horsie
