Today

Today I threw a whole bunch of tantrums. It was not a fun day. Miss Joi & Miss Melyssa left to work at a different day-care. I like my new teachers but I miss my old ones.
Baby Aiden has been as cute as usual but hasn't had the best day either due to teething...

But mommy got some cute pictures and videos of him

Memorial Day

Today was Memorial Day. We are here, able to have lots of fun thanks to many brave men and women out there who work really hard to keep us safe and free and leave their families behind to do so.

So we decided that the best way to appreciate such an important day is to spend it doing nice things and being with friends (unfortunately we can't be with family) and realize how lucky we are that we can.

We started the day by going to the pond to feed the duckies, geese and the lonesome blue crane. As usual, it took forever for us to get out of the house so here I am waiting for my mommy to finish feeding the baby so that we could leave already

Here are the duckies

We gave them lots of bread and when we ran out of bread I considered for a moment giving them some of my whole grain, no artificial colors Gold Fish...

But I decided to wait on that decision. We instead went for a walk around the pond. Baby Aiden had his first time in his stroller not in his car seat...

We had to finish our walk pretty quickly because baby Aiden got fussy and that's when I decided that I wanted to keep my Gold Fish all to myself so I voted again sharing with the duckies

We went home, had lunch, took a nap...

Then we went to the Haneys for a Memorial Day cookout. We had lots of fun. They have a new puppy which I sort of liked. We played in the water which I really liked! Mommy forgot the camera of course. I got my nice clothes really dirty... and then I had a tantrum when we got home. I am still not asleep even though it's almost 9 pm. My daddy has been in the room with me for over an hour now and I am still not asleep! Mommy is going crazy!

An Afternoon At the Park

Us Boys Having Some Fun

Yesterday I woke up with a fever. Mommy took me to the doctor and turned out I had Strep throat. They started me on antibiotics right away and I am already feeling so much better. Of course I had to stay home from school today so daddy stayed home with baby Aiden for a couple of hours in the morning while mommy and I went to Whole Foods to get me all of my special dairy products and nut and sesame free products. I love that store. They have those special little toddler shopping carts so I got to have my own cart and filled up with lots of wonderful, healthy fruits.

I took a very short nap (mommy wasn't too happy about that) and then when daddy got home I started feeling better (after 3 doses of antibiotics) and we started having some fun...

And look how beautiful my baby brother is...

Four Month's Stats

On Thursday my little bro had his four month's appointment. I wish he were older already so that we can start playing together. He doesn't really do much. He smiles and coos and tries to laugh and smacks his gym mat animals and pulls on them and puts a lot of things in his mouth (whatever he can grab really) but I want to be able to play with him already.

So he weighed in at 15 lbs & 3 oz (born 7 lbs & 8 oz). His height is 24 & 3/4 inches and he was born 21 inches long. His development is right on track

He got 5 shots and one oral vaccine. He developed a fever during the night and had a stubborn fever through yesterday in spite of infant Tylenol and infant Motrin. He was cranky and fussy and not a very happy chap. We are all hoping that he will be feeling better tomorrow.

And onto a different note, my daddy gets me and my little brother our clothes (though Aiden gets most of my old clothes). My daddy gets us designer clothes because that's just the way he is. So I am wearing a Joseph Abboud outfit. You have to admit I look super cute in it...

My Little Bro

Every morning when my mommy takes me to school, my baby brother hangs out in the baby swing when my daddy takes a shower. So yesterday morning daddy took some pictures of the little guy. Isn't he just adorable?

And earlier this evening, my wonderful little brother gave me Toby train as a present. I love him!

Stuff

A few weeks ago grandpa Phil & Mima were visiting and I went with them and mommy to Maymont Park to see animals and stuff. Daddy got to stay home with baby Aiden as he isn't allowed to wear sunscreen yet and be out in such heat for more than a few minutes. I didn't mind him not tagging along because sometimes I just want to be the only one like it used to be before he was born.
It started out nicely. But it got too hot too quickly and I got very tired and wanted to be in the stroller which meant that mommy had to push me all the way up the hill to get back to our car when we were done with just a tiny part of the park. So at least she got some much needed exercise.
Here are some pictures
I start out ok...

That's it, I am wiped out...

And earlier this evening before bath time us boys were just hanging out:

Ok, I'm ready for bath now

Oh, and yesterday was Imma Day (or Mother's Day). Daddy made mommy breakfast. Then in the afternoon daddy took me to Lowe's (our favorite hang out on the weekends) and I picked out a card for mommy and got her a dairy-free, soy-free, decaf, cinnamon dolce Americano. It's all because of baby Aiden that she can't have milk, soy or caffeine. The card made her very very happy. The flowers daddy got her unfortunately made all of us very allergic so we had to get rid of them.
