Grandpa Gabi Comes to Visit

Grandpa Gabi came to visit us this weekend.

Him being here gave my mommy the courage to put me in cotton training pants and watch what happens...

Well, turns out I don't mind wet underpants so the whole potty-learning process might take a while...

Grandpa Gabi helped out a lot with feeding me and changing me and playing with me so mommy got much needed rest

And here we are, goofing off instead of eating

Saying Goodbye to Grandpa Phil & Grandma Sandy

Grandpa Phil & Grandma Sandy came to stay with us for a couple of days to help my mommy and me while daddy was away on a business trip. We forgot to take pictures and videos, except for right when they were leaving...

It was morning and everyone was getting ready to take me to day care. So I was giving grandpa hugs and cuddles before we left saying goodbye to grandpa (video)

Oops... Forgot Our Last Day in Israel

So my mommy completely forgot about our last day in Israel...

In the morning, Doda (aunt) Osnat gave me banana. The reason I feel it is worth pointing out is that my mommy never remembers to buy me bananas because she doesn't like them. So I hardly ever get to have them...

Eating Banana 1 (video) and Eating Banana 2 (video)

Then Savta (grandma) Ruti took us all out to a really good restaurant in Tel-Aviv. I got to try really great bread and that was it for me! They wouldn't let me try anything else after the whole allergy/hospital scare we had a couple of weeks before! But I had fun anyways. The waiter brought me lots of straws to play with and my nieces and nephew showered me with attention.

And you would think they starve me... at the restaurant (video)

In the evening we headed out to the airport. Sabba (grandpa) Gabi came with us to the airport because the rental car didn't have enough room for all of our bags (my mommy did a lot of shopping in Israel). So while mommy & daddy were getting something to drink, Sabba Gabi ran around with me for a bit. This was WAY past my bedtime but I'm still in good spirits... And this Concludes Our Trip

So while my Doda (auntie) Osnat and my mommy were busy packing our suitcases for going back to the US (ugh!), I decided to keep myself busy...

No, I am not gay! All toddlers go through this phase. Though my mommy did have to explain that to my daddy when he freaked out over this.

I don't want to go back to the US. I had so much fun here. No offense to my mommy, but there it's just me & her and here I had so many kids and people to hang out with. And I'm going to miss my Savta Ruti, Sabba Gabi, Doda Osnat, and Dod Moshe and my cousins soooo... much!

Yom Ha'atzmaut (Independence Day)

I feel so honored for having been in Israel for its 60th Independence Day! It was so nice to share such a special day with family! It was a great day of good food, laughs and a great nap for me at my uncle Moshe's house

Jerusalem

Today we went to visit friends in Jerusalem

Soccer with Doda (aunt) Osnat

Ok, so my Doda (auntie) Osnat never played soccer in her entire life! Until I came along! Now she's a pro! Watch us playing soccer:

A Busy Day!

Wow! Today was quite a busy day.

It started out with me helping Savta Ruti unload the dishwasher

helping Savta video 1, helping Savta video 2, helping Savta video 3

Then my brave friend Tomer and his mommy Michal came to visit in the morning. Tomer is my little friend who had open-heart surgery when he was just 3 months old! Well, he's almost 6 months old now and is doing great! He's such a brave little guy.

Soon after Michal & Tomer came over, my daddy was leaving for his meeting so I made sure to give him some cuddles first

After my daddy came back we hung out and he took me for a walk in the stroller

And the best part of the day was falling asleep with Savta Ruti

My Friend Yonatan

My daddy wasn't feeling that well today (I think I mentioned my mommy got us all sick!) so Savta Ruti joined me & my mommy to go to the park to hang out with my friend Yonatan. Yonatan is the son of my parents' friends Ifat & Ran who used to live in Washington, DC. He is a year and a week older than I am so it was pretty cool to hang out with such a big boy!

Well, I am sure you all know that both my mommy & my daddy are math geeks. Well, turns out math runs in my veins. I am not even 18 months old yet and already was immediately attracted to the Abacus. It was really fun playing with it Abacus Video

Then Yonatan came over and asked if I would come and play with him Yonatan video

We came home tired but happy!
