Playing Catch Up...

So it's been about 6 months. A lot has happened in the last 5 months. Since so much has happened, I can't include everything, but I will tell you about the major evetns.

The first of which was my second 3rd-birthday party that took place on my actual 3rd birthday (which is my mommy's preferred time of celebrating a birthday). It was on Saturday, November 21, 2009 (man, we're already into April 2010...). The guests were my sitter Lindsay and her wonderful boyfriend Will. Then there were my other two sitters, Tonia & Niki and their mommy. And of course my mommy, daddy, and my little bro Aiden. Lindsay made me a super yummy cake, I received lots of wonderful presents and most importantly, I got lots of love and attention and had a blast

And then we went to stay with my aunt Debbi (daddy's sister) and uncle Kevin (her husband) and my cousin Colin for Thanksgiving. Grandma Phyllis was there and so were Grandpa Phil and Nima Sandy. Thanksgiving was nice enough but the highlight was my third, 3rd birthday party for me. Aunt Debbi went all out to make me a very special party. Grandma Phyllis slaved for hours to make the a Toby birthday cake (Toby is the number 7 Tram engine in the Thomas series). She made it with all the substitue ingredients so that I don't get an allergic reactions. Also, since my mommy won't let us have stuff with food colorings, she squeezed cranberries to make the red on my cake. She really went all out and it was such a perfect and yummy cake. Of course I got lots more presents...

In my new wagon...

And then winter struck us... mommy and daddy moved to Richmond, VA around 5 years ago. Of course I and Aiden were'nt around yet. Winters here in Richmond have always been pretty mild. But not this one.
And a couple of videos of how baby Aiden learned how to walk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--i8FqgkjRs and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RPqucZrOTw

And then came Hanukkah...

Ha, and then came A LOT more snow...

And this is our back yard...

And every once in a while, mommy and daddy will get a sitter and go out.
And after being stuck at home because of the snow for 3 days, we were finally able to get out on the road and go to an inflatable place and have some fun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-Y3x30zn_4 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFm_bVW5ufE

And in January (the 17th to be exact), my baby brother turned 1. We all couldn't believe that his first year has gone by so quickly. It has been quite a year. He has added so much joy to our lives (even though he sometimes really annoys me). We are so happy to have him in our lives, and we are never giving him up

And of course I had to be Thomas for Purim

And then came Pesach (Passover). We joined our wonderful friends the Rifes and dined and read the Hagadah at their home. We are so fortunate to have made such wonderful friend here in Richmond.

We're just doing some 'computer-work'

My 3rd Birthday Party Number 1 (November 19, 2009)

Ok, so here goes...

Tomorrow (November 20) I will turn 3. But tomorrow is Shabbat so there's no school. So my class threw me a birthday party today. We had the Shabbat party first and then my birthday. It was SOOOO MUCH fun. And of course mommy, daddy & baby Aiden came to celebrate with me.

It all started with us all riding in the van together to get me to school (usually daddy takes me in the morning while mommy stays with Aiden at home). Baby Aiden had fallen asleep in the car (because it was his usual nap time). Mommy brought me into my classroom while daddy stayed in the car with Aiden so he could sleep some more. The teachers gave me a special birthday hat

And then after a little bit, we went into the synagogue to have the Shabbat party and my birthday party.

And because I was the birthday boy, I got to sit in the center of the circle on the special birthday chair with my mommy

And here are my birthday cupcakes that Nechomi made for me

Nothing better than sitting on the floor and eating a birthday cupcake

More birthday celebrations to come...

Hanging Out with My Bro (November 18-19, 2009)

This is what we do on rainy and cold days when I get back from preschool: we get into trouble with Aiden's newly acquired climbing skills http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_xaWrD9GoE

And then, after we get tired of getting into trouble and driving our mommy insane, we just chil!

Aiden is 10 Months Old (November 17, 2009)

For Aiden's 10 months birthday I decided to be a loving brother and get us both into heaps of trouble http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOD3lpsBP0k

Outside Fun & Aiden's 10 Months Birthday

We still have a day here and there when it's still nice to be outside for short periods of time. So we try to take advantage of those days as much as we can before it gets too cold and starts raining and snowing and all.

I love to ride my tricycle and Aiden loves to 'ride' the car. And I like to give Aiden turns to 'ride' on my tricycle too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n49-knHUOaI

And to the longest post ever: our adventures from November 1 through November 13, 2009

So I figured I would just share bits and pieces of what me and my 'Trouble is My Middle Name' of a brother have been doing on these days...

Us boys and our tunnel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUawYxjV8E4

Baby Aiden loves it when I take him for a ride in the dump truck http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jS0dYJSe580, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qAr9M_sLrQ

And this is what mommy and Aiden do when I'm at school http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pEN-1RqUx8, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLXK9U3rguY

And sometimes Aiden can be a really pesky little bugger http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfXacW9GSwA

Let's see, what else can I share? Once a day, Aiden gets to watch TV. His favorite show is 'Big Cat Diaries'. He loves it SOOOOO MUCH that he stands right in front of the TV to watch it (to my mommy's disliking) and tries to touch all the animals through the screen. He doesn't really get why they can't come and play with him.

Baby Aiden has a new favorite hang-out place - the fridge

Here's baby Aiden eating tomato and cucumber for the first time and loving it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ek_F35w8TRY

And a video for further proof that me, Scott's son is eating cucumber and tomato http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTh4TYbqTeU, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcO3oLsTVw8

Sometimes, we really want to go out and mommy won't let us (just kidding! but she just makes us put on jackets and shoes and silly stuff like that)

Let Us Out...

And to end this longest post in history, I will present you with a picture of my gorgeous baby brother
