Today we went to check out some more 'ganim' or day-care centers for me for my stay here. You see, I really miss being around other kids and I'm getting pretty bored going to the same play grounds over and over again and my mommy is running out of ideas of how to entertain me all day long... we were lucky to find a place that has a kid with the same allergies as mine so they feel comfortable bringing me along. I start on October 5th. I can't wait already to hang out with all these Israeli kids.
After my nap we went to my uncle's house and I got to play with my cousins. Here are the videos...

Where Do I Begin?
So, the flights this time around were more reasonable. First, United Airlines is much much better than Delta Airlines. British Midland not so much, but at least that was the shorter flight. So we left Richmond on Wednesday at 1 pm and drove to mommy's & daddy's friends in Northern VA. We spent a few hours there with their dog and daughters and then headed out to the airport at 6 pm. Because my mommy and daddy have premier status with Untied, we got to go through the premier security lane which had no line at all. Good start! We were hanging out at the airport, way past my usual bedtime when I decided it was time for a massive potty! My parents really apprecaited my doing it at the airport and not on the plane. Score one for me! So I got changed and we kept waiting and hanging out. I ran around a lot and had some fun and then we boarded the airplane. We got seats in Economy Plus which was nice, especially for my preggy mommy and they even had a more spacious handicap lavatory which my mommy really appreciated as well with her big bump! I got to sit next to my daddy and mommy was across the isle. I couldn't sit with her because he had to go to the bathroom all the time. I watched a DVD and then actually fell asleep a couple of hours before the end of the flight. I didn't even wake up when we landed - daddy had to wake me up! I behaved a lot better on this flight and only got cranky a few times as opposed to the entire flight like last time. The flight attendants were really nice to all of us.
Then we had a couple of hours to kill at Heathrow airport in London. I actually fell asleep in my stroller for about 20 minutes while mommy and daddy were getting a bite to eat because they don't find airline food all that acceptable. Then we went through security again which wasn't too bad and situated ourselves by the big windows by our departure gate where I watched the airplanes take off and constantly repeated the following two phrases: 'bye bye airplane' and 'bye bye goes' to everyone's delight (or NOT!)
We left a bit later than expected and the plane was sub-par. It should have been taken out of use about 10 years ago. It was hot the entire hour it took for everyone to board and only got the AC working after take off. Let's just say, no AC and a preggy mommy is not a good combination for everyone around! At least the staff was trying to be nice and helpful but just coudn't offer any real solutions. Finally we took off and I wasn't as cooperative as on the first leg, but wasn't as cranky as during our flight in April. They didn't have economy plus on this flight so we felt a bit like sardines, but at least it was a shorter flight. I fell asleep again a couple of hours before the end. The flight attendants insisted I be strapped in for landing and I didn't like it one bit so I threw a major tantrum that made everyone on the plane cringe! We finally landed and they unstrapped me and I was happier. The thing was that I was just so tired and cranky by that point because I hadn't gotten any real sleep in what seemed like forever!
Of course we were the last to get our luggage but at least we got all of it! And then grandpa Gabi and my aunt Osnat met us at the arrival lounge. We went to my grandma Ruti's place where I was given a nice meal, a thourough bath (at the request of my mommy) and went to bed with daddy. I slept from 11 pm till 6:30 am.
The next day (Friday) I had a really long nap - 3.5 hours. At around 6 pm my uncle Moshe and my 3 cousins came over to see me and I had a blast! I went to bed at 9 and slept for 12.5 hours which was the longest I had ever gone.
And today, my grandma and daddy took me to the park so that mommy could get some rest because she hadn't been sleeping as well as me and my daddy and here are 3 videos from the park...

Oh, and I guess the best news of the day is that I went pee-pee on the potty for the first time! Go me!!!

A Little Brother for Me!
A little brother as a present for me will be arriving somewhere around January 23rd, 2009! His new ultrasound pictures to follow after my daddy scans them. He is quite a show off the little guy - showing his manliness for all to easily see!

Isn't It Ironic?!
Well, I am too young to understand what ironic means, BUT, my mommy says this situation definitely qualifies! So, you know how I told you my mommy & daddy used to call me Peanut before I was born and before they knew that I was a boy? Well, after thorough allergy testing today they found out I am allergic to PEANUTS. Yes, me, the little peanut is allergic to peanuts. And to sesame too. So I don't get to eat all the good foods and yummy Bamba and Halva in Israel and don't get to eat yummy peanut butter here. Turns out it's a life threatening allergy too. Of course I have to go all the way. I can't just be mildly allergic. So my mommy & daddy now have to start carrying an Epi Pen with them everywhere they go and keep one at day care just in case I ingest/touch/inhale something that has peanuts or sesame in it.
Bugger! That's all I have to say

More Fun with Grandpa Gabi
Ok, so today both my mommy and daddy were sick. It was also super hot so a decision was made that we would all stay home in the air-conditioning.
So instead of running around outside, we ran around inside (video) around the nice, dining room table and some more running around in the dining room (video)
For snack after my nap I had some apple and whole-grain gold fish with some floor seasoning, because that's the best way to eat...

And you tell me, do I have a future in
valet parking (video)?
Grandpa hung out with me and took care of me all day long and when it was evening he had to leave. But he's coming to visit again this coming Friday. I can't wait already...

A Weekend with Grandpa Gabi
My grandpa Gabi came to visit last night but I was already asleep when he arrived so I didn't get to see him until this morning. I was so excited to see that he had come to visit me. I even remembered him even though it had been 2 months since I had seen him last. It's a really good thing he came to visit because my mommy was sick and so he helped daddy take care of her and me. Soon after breakfast grandpa and daddy took me to the park. So here are some pictures and videos from our fun time there...

And here I am
sliding (video) and here is some better sliding action (video) and there are all kinds of different ways to use a slide (video).
And here I am, going into the tunnel slide all by myself (video) and here I am walking back up the tunnel slide (video).
Ok, enough with sliding, it's time to drive the bus (video).
Oh, and here I am on the swing (video) but I don't care much for the baby swing, so I got my daddy to take me on the big boy swing (video).
And now it was time for a snack break (video)
After my nap, grandpa and daddy to me to Pigtails & Crewcuts to get my hair cut and they have really cool toys there, so here I am playing...

After my bath grandpa managed to snap a couple more photos of me

And that was it for today. More fun tomorrow...

Pool Day!
Ah, the Richmond summer... what can I say! It's better than the DC summer but still pretty hot. But hot is good. Hot means mommy & daddy blow up my baby pool and let me have some good old fashioned summer fun.
So here I am... obviously enjoying myself
